The 34^rd annual meeting of the Catalysis Society of South Africa (CAATSA) will be held in the lovely Drakensberg. The conference venue will be the Champagne Sports Resort with an on-site golf course.

The conference is themed: “Advancing Innovative Catalysis”. The organizing committee is excited to announce that Prof. Ben L. Feringa (Nobel laureate 2016) will be the plenary speaker at the conference. We are looking forward to receiving a great number of abstracts on the exciting work done in the field of biocatalysis, electrocatalysis, heterogeneous catalysis and homogeneous catalysis in Africa. The organizing committee is now busy to put a program together to best facilitate the discussions at our annual meeting.

The annual meeting is not only a place for intellectual exchange, but also a place to meet your colleagues in the field of catalysis and start new collaborations. We are busy putting together an interesting social program to ensure that the participants will meet each other over the 4 days of the conference.
